2008 CHUBSKI  FLY TYING ROUNDTABLE

Learn about Frank Chubski

This group meets regularly to tie flies together, tell fish
stories and enjoy each other's company.

All OFFC members are invited to join us at the Chubski Fly Tying Roundtable.  One of the great benefits included as a member of OFFC is learning how to tie flies and filling your fly boxes with effective flies.

Next Roundtable - August 11, 6:30 PM

Please join us for a combined Chubski Fly Tying Round Table and Board Meeting at the Issaquah Brew House http://www.rogue.com/locations-issaquah.html on August 11th at 6:30.  If there are any agenda items, the Board can conduct their monthly meeting while the other members are tying.  Otherwise, everyone including the Board members, is invited to tie some attractor patterns featuring Ron Romig’s “Ron’s Charlie”.  Ron says it’s a proven, successful fly that really gets ‘em on the Snoqualmie River and many others throughout the northwest.  Don’t forget to check out the various patterns on our club web site under “Members”, then click the “Fly Tyers’ Page” link.  Once there, click on the “Search Flytiers page” and type in “hopper” or “attractor” or whatever, and you’ll see lots of different patterns and recipes.  Our club tiers will have the best patterns at the meeting, of course!

For beginning tiers, or those who would like to brush up on basic skills or learn to better use some of those nifty fly tying tools, Ron and other club members will be there to get you up to speed.  No tools, or materials are necessary, just bring yourself!

Please remember to bring a tying lamp or light if you have one, and an extension cord would be great too.  The Board meeting and tying start at 06:30 pm, but come earlier to get a bite to eat.  Please stop by and we’ll see you there!
