2009 Outings:

 

Last Outing: Great outing on the Methow

It was a fun weekend had by all.  I was able to enjoy some quality time on the river with my wife and two fellow members Bruce and Andy.   I heard the all you can eat barbecue at the Chelan winery is not to be missed.

John had some great tips and advice this allowed me to catch my first Steelhead.

Working Like Dogs: OFFC's newest member helps the Kick-off for Conservation
Lazarous
Lazarus is Joe and Renee's newest family addition.

As far as we know there are no prerequisites for our members to be able to swim, but our newest member, Lazarus, was prepared to take the plunge. He helped in the Club's first conservation project on the last outing floating, fishing and picking up litter on the Snohomish River. This initiative is sure to pick up speed once we realize there is more to do than just sleep in the raft.

 

A few beautiful fish were caught on the last outing to The Naches River.

Annual Events Not on Our Club Calendar

The Bellevue Fly Fishing Show has been cancelled for 2010.
The Oregon State Council FFF Fly Tyers Expo will be held March 12th & 13th in Albany, OR at the Lane County Fairgrounds.
The Washington Fly Fair will be held in Ellensburg on April 30 and May 1. If you plan on spending the night in Ellensburg make hotel reservations now. Last year there was a Cutting Horse event on the same weekend and hotels were booked full.
It is not too early to starting planning on the Federation of Fly Fishers Conclave, this year in West Yellowstone, MT, August 24-28. Headquarters hotel will be the Holiday Inn at about $150.00 night.
